Knockout City Season 5: Greatest Hits

Hello Knockout City! We’re less than 24 hours away from kicking off a new Season! We’re so excited to brawl through this Season and revisit our favorites from the past year of dodgeball action. 

Starting right now, we’re going to shake things up with the Chronicles: we’ll be releasing a new blog every two weeks, with the start of a new Event. There are 12 weeks in the Season, so that means… wait. Does anyone have a calculator? Six blogs, for six Events! I’ll be sure to double up on bad dodgebrawlin’ puns though, don’t you worry!

KO City Heroes

If you thought that the villains had been vanquished from the streets of Knockout City and all our Heroes had retired for good, think again, because it’s time to rise up and duel it out in Superpowers+! For anyone who missed out on this dynamic experience or the exclusive cosmetics that accompanied it in Season 2, now is your chance! You’ll receive a random Superpower on every spawn, and all your favorite Superpowers have returned, with a twist: All Superpowers+ Playlists will have a chance of normal, Party, or Basic Ball loadouts! Plus, if you were paying close attention in our Season 5 trailer, you might have noticed that new VFX have been added to every Superpower, so they are easier to spot when used, and you’ll look incredible when you do.

Event Contracts

It’s not enough to just say you’re a hero, or a villain for that matter. You gotta prove you have what it takes to save the City, or crush it within your brawlin’ mits. Complete Event Contracts that will award 1000 XP each, and unlock special rewards along the way. Vanquishing any five Contracts earns you the Legendary KO Effect: Viper’s Strike. Annihilate all ten Contracts and you’ll get the Rare Crew Logo: V.I.P.E.R. Crew. Even if you flexed in your spandex suit last summer, these rewards are still new to you!

Event Shop

This is your chance to get your grubby fingers on exclusive Knockout City Heroes cosmetics, and you don’t even have to rob a store to do it! Head on over to the Event Shop, where you’ll find items that have been locked in the vault since Season 2!
