What Runs Around the Dodgeball Field But Never Moves?

Players Choice Poll

Knockout City needs YOU to vote in this Season’s Players Choice Poll to determine what Playlist will be featured in Week 9! Line up at the polls, cast your vote and be sure to get your complimentary Democracy Sausage after you’re done (that’s a little joke for our Aussie friends)! You’ve got one final hour remaining from the posting of this Chronicle. We’ll announce the winning playlist later today!

Playlists

Now I know you’ve all signed up to be test subjects for Chain Reaction, but I just want to remind you that we haven’t seen Trish since they signed that Perennial Labs waiver. It’s been a whole week. So, if you want to go out there and get Ultimate Thrown for science, that’s your decision. I’ll be over here, working my way through the Daily Playlists.

Crew Contracts

When you complete any two Crew Contracts, you get a banger of a reward with Rare Crew Horn: La Cucaracha—Iconic melody, great addition to any Crew Vehicle, right? But then, when you complete any four Contracts you get… a Bear? Specifically, Legendary Crew Logo: Bear Trap. Now, I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but I don’t know of any bears that sing La Cucuaracha when they step in a bear trap. Is that… Knockout City, baby?

Brawl Shop

Now, I know you thought it was im-PAWS-able that we could have more bears, but have I got a BEARgain for you! It’s an unBEARably adorable bear backpack. It’s so cute and fuzzy I could just explode! It’s in the shop RIGHT NOW, go get it!

Fanart

I’d like to go a week without mentioning that person in our Discord whose name starts with a “G” and ends with an “orndt,” but if life has taught me anything, it’s that we don’t always get what we want. Gorndt created a very nice contest in our #fanart channel, and while it’s still in process at the time of writing this Chronicle, this is one of my favorite submissions so far. Credit to Dreemii.

Tip of the Week

This week’s tip comes from Vitro101 of our Creator Crew!

Use the environment to your advantage! It is amazing how many players don't use this. It's a great way to not get punished for dashing out, flapping at the wrong time, or being way too close to the opponent. It's also great for countering sniper balls, just run behind a wall. And the environment has a 100% catch rate ;) Here’s an example:

That’s Brawl, Folks!

Friendly reminder: if you haven’t found Chonky in every level yet, you’re running out of time before he runs off again!
